SPECIAL EVENTS INCREASE BENEFIT
The Special Events Increase Facility enables you to increase your Living Assurance Benefit following major life changes for the life assured without further medical assessment.
LIVING ASSURANCE ESSENTIAL OR COMPREHENSIVE POLICY TYPE CHOICES
Essential policies provide cover for over 40 defined critical medical conditions. For 10 of the conditions you are entitled to full payment and for the remaining 30 defined conditions, you are entitled to partial payment.
CHILDREN'S TRAUMA BENEFIT
If a child of the life assured suffers a covered condition, the Children’s Trauma Benefit will pay a benefit of 50% of the sum assured (up to $20,000). NEWBORN CHILDREN

Fidelity Life Trauma Cover
RELOCATION TO NZ BENEFIT
If you suffer from one of the trauma conditions (while living overseas for more than 3 months), this benefit will pay an economy airfare up to $10,000 for you and, where necessary, a support person to be flown directly back to New Zealand.
FUTURE INSURABILITY ON SPECIAL EVENTS
In certain events such as getting married or having children, you can increase your trauma cover without a medical assessment.
STANDALONE CONVERSION BENEFIT
You can convert your standalone cover to accelerated cover with an equal amount of life cover before you turn 60 effectively reducing your Trauma premiums.
IN-BUILT CHILDREN'S BENEFIT
At no additional cost, all of your children (either birth or legal adoption) aged between 2 and 20 (inclusive) years are covered for the lesser of $50,000 or 20% of the parent's Trauma sum assured should they suffer for the first time after the cover starts on of the Trauma conditions.

Partners Life Trauma Cover
RETURN TO HOME BENEFIT
Pays up to $10,000 to cover the costs of an airfare to return home if the life assured who has been working overseas suffers a trauma condition.
FUTURE INSURABILITY OPTION
You can increase your Trauma Cover sum (up to certain limits) each year without an additional medical assessment.
SPECIAL EVENTS INCREASE BENEFIT
Allows cover to be increased when special events occur without further assessment of health.
ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSPORT BENEFIT
Assists with the travel and accommodation costs of a necessary support person when the life assured needs treatment outside their residential region.
IN-BUILT CHILDREN'S COVER
Pays up to $50,000 per dependent child if they suffer one of the Trauma or Severe Trauma conditions covered.

RETURN TO HOME BENEFIT
Will pay up to $10,000 to cover the costs for you and one support person to return home from overseas for care.
FUNERAL BENEFIT
Pays up to $12,500 of your Trauma cover to help with your funeral expenses, standalone cover only.
SPECIAL EVENTS INCREASE BENEFIT
You may be able to increase your cover without any additional medical underwriting following any of the AIA listed special events for the life assured if one of these special events occur before you turn 65.
OPTIONAL CHILDREN'S TRAUMA COVER
Choose the optional children’s trauma cover and receive $75,000 should your child (between the ages of 3 – 21) suffer from one of the specified illnesses.
IN-BUILT CHILDREN'S BENEFIT
f your child has a major trauma this benefit will pay you $50,000 or 20% of your cover, whichever amount is lower. Available for children aged 3 - 21 years old.

Asteron Life Trauma Recovery
SPECIAL EVENTS INCREASE BENEFIT
The Special Events Increase benefit enables you to increase your Trauma Cover following major life changes for the life assured without further medical assessment.
EARLY TRAUMA BENEFIT
Makes a partial payment (the greater of $10,000 or 20% of your total cover) for an additional 19 conditions such as Parkinson’s or Multiple Sclerosis. This is paid in addition to the existing 43 Trauma conditions covered.
IN-BUILT CHILDREN'S COVER
Receive free trauma cover for children and grandchildren of up to $10,000 with the option to increase your cover to up to $200,000 with just an additional $1/month for each child.
EARLY STAGE CANCER BENEFIT
You’ll receive an advance payment of part of your Trauma Recovery Cover if you’re diagnosed with early stage cancer.
6 MONTH PREMIUM HOLIDAY BENEFIT
Available once only through the lifetime of the policy (you must be at least 6 months into the policy) if you have paid premiums and the policy has been continually in force for at least 6 months and: the insured person becomes involuntarily unemployed or the insured person is made bankrupt or suffers financial hardship.
NEEDLESTICK BENEFIT
For those who work in the medical and emergency service industry, the Needlestick benefit helps to ensure you can protect yourself against the financial impact of contracting Hepatitis B or C or HIV.
